Our Plan for Regional Prosperity has been informed and driven by evidence and builds on our solid track record of delivery to date, positively articulating the ways in which we can power a diverse and balanced economy creating opportunities for everyone.
The underpinning evidence base has been reviewed and approved by the Office for National Statistics and has been supported by extensive engagement.

To ensure we realise our vision and change the region’s future for the better, we will monitor our performance against a new set of key indicators to demonstrate the impact of Our Plan for Regional Prosperity.
These indicators have been co-developed with Government and are, therefore, closely aligned with national outcome frameworks without losing focus of the real impacts we want to achieve across our region.
The new Local Outcomes Framework for Tees Valley will ensure we can measure the impact of our plan and provide assurances and confidence to our communities, local businesses, strategic partners and central government.
We intend to monitor our collective progress regularly and produce periodic reports of our performance – these will be published on our website and form part of our routine governance arrangements. As part of the reporting process, we will also provide more detailed updates on all the outcomes linked to the numerous projects and programmes which underpin our investments and delivery of Our Plan for Regional Prosperity.
