South Tees Development Corporation is looking for new members to join its Audit & Governance Committee.
This is a voluntary, unpaid role, for which members are required to each attend a minimum of three meetings a year.
This is your chance to use your skills and experience to become a “critical friend” to the South Tees Development Corporation board and take on an exciting and challenging role in the statutory oversight of the UK’s biggest industrial zone.
We are looking for talented individuals passionate about Tees Valley who meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Work within, or have recently retired from, the private sector; or
- Have experience in risk management, e.g. in banking, insurance and risk, etc; or
- Have financial background with skills in interpreting accounts, reviewing financial proposals, etc; or
- Have a background in regeneration or development projects
