Business Leaders Join LEP Board

Tees Valley Combined Authority | Published on: 2nd June 2017

The Tees Valley Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has strengthened its Board with the appointment of two new members.

The new appointments, which were confirmed at the Combined Authority AGM on 31st May 2017, are:

  • Graham Robb, Senior Partner at Recognition PR
  • Alby Pattison, Managing Director of Hart Biologicals

They will join the active, committed and diverse group of business leaders who are already playing a key role in the economic transformation of the Tees Valley.

Supporting the Tees Valley Mayor and Combined Authority they will offer strong and effective business involvement in decision-making, ensuring business growth remains central to the Tees Valley’s ambitions for the economy.  The new members will also become Associate Members of the Combined Authority, contributing ideas and commitment to deliver on the region’s potential.

Paul Booth, chair of Tees Valley Local Enterprise Partnership and Tees Valley Combined Authority Cabinet Member, said:   “I welcome Graham and Alby to the Board and the skills, knowledge and experience they will bring.

“The diverse and broadly representative group of business leaders are drawn from different sectors, towns, size of business, experience and background.   What they have in common is the vision and drive to play a key role in supporting the work of the Combined Authority and building on the significant successes already achieved.

“We are always looking for new people to enhance the skills and knowledge of the Board and are pleased to welcome the new members.”

At the AGM earlier in the week other leading business figures, Colin Fyfe, Chief Executive of Darlington Building Society and Paul Bury, Managing Partner at the Endeavour Partnership were appointed to the Audit & Governance Committee.
