BCAN

Black Creatives and Arts Network (BCAN) is a community-led network supporting Black creatives across Tees Valley and beyond, focused on building visibility, connections and career opportunities across the creative and cultural sectors. The service provides regular meetups, training and peer support, alongside opportunities for networking, collaboration and business development, helping creatives develop their practice and operate successfully as freelancers or creative enterprises. Benefits include increased visibility, access to industry insight and opportunities, stronger peer networks, and enhanced skills and confidence, supporting career progression while helping to broaden diversity and representation within the regional creative economy.
