Your business can help make sure young people receive high-quality careers guidance and experiences. Promoting key sectors, job opportunities and pathways.
Launched by the Tees Valley Mayor, the Tees Valley Careers Hub is committed to improving the lives of young people.
Knowledge is power. By raising the quality of careers provision, we equip young people with the tools to make more informed choices about their futures and help them achieve their aspirations.
We work with all secondary to post-16 education establishments to help them implement high-quality careers guidance, as part of The Careers and Enterprise Company’s national initiative. Promoting key sectors, job opportunities and pathways.
We need local businesses to help shape this activity and directly engage with young people to let them know first-hand about the incredible career opportunities open to them.
This will help raise aspirations and make sure young people can prepare for the world of work, giving businesses like yours access to a skilled future workforce.
Regeneration projects and exciting developments are driving economic growth and creating more career opportunities in Tees Valley than ever before.
Innovative local companies are leading the rest of the world in sectors from clean energy and innovation to screen and creative industries. But young people still think they need to move to big cities to succeed. We are here to change that.
We are transforming Tees Valley into a place where young people can ‘Stay Local, Go Far’.
There are many ways your business can help shape the future workforce, depending on the level of commitment you, or your employees, can make.
