Hartlepool based Artistic Solutions accessed £20,000 through the Tees Valley Business Growth Fund to purchase new screen technology needed to help drive the business forward, just in time to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee! We spoke to Technical Manager, Daniel Brobbel, to find out more.

Artistic Solutions is a creative technical company that works with production companies up and down the country to create stunning event performances and exhibitions. Always striving to stay ahead of digital trends, the business accessed a £20,000 business growth grant to purchase a LED video wall and the additional hardware needed to get the new equipment up and running.

Danial explained: “The LED wall essentially replaces the need for back drops, star cloths and general set pieces. Not only can this save our clients’ money, but it will also create new and exciting animated scenes for performances. We always strive to stay up to date with equipment and technology and this purchase was required as part of our future growth.”

Daniel said: ““The Platinum Jubilee celebrations provided the perfect catalyst to invest in the new digital technology. Working with Hartlepool Borough Council we were able to capture the imaginations of Hartlepool school children by having them paint, draw and sketch images of Her Majesty the Queen, her corgis and all of the other wonderful memories they may have of the Royal Family. Hartlepool Borough Council collated the artwork which we then digitalised and displayed.

“The team from Middleton Grange Shopping Centre really got involved by creating an area around the base of the display with a golden throne for the children and adults to get a super-sized selfie in front of their work.

“The joy which is visible when the artists bring parents along is truly priceless.  I can’t imagine anything better than being a youngster and seeing your own masterpiece on such a huge display for the whole town to see!”
