Dive Deeper on your journey to Net Zero with a full day in-person masterclass.
Join Decerna for an introduction to decarbonisation and discover a range of “quick wins” that your business can implement. The session will equip you with ideas  for decarbonising your business, including no cost and low cost options, up to £5,000. You will also learn about renewable energy options for your business premises, including how they work and the pros and cons for you to consider.

This deep dive session will also offer a more in-depth look into the measures your business can implement, such as data logging and behavioural change. 

Masterclass Learning Outcomes:

• Understand what decarbonisation is, and what is is not (emissions reduction vs. offsetting) and steps to reach Net Zero.
• Environmental and commercial benefits of decarbonisation.
• How to carry out a basic energy audit and measure and assess energy consumption.
• How to identify energy waste and opportunities for decarbonisation.
• A comprehensive set of ‘Quick Wins’ for decarbonising a business.
• Introduction to renewables for business premises including solar PV, solar thermal and heat pumps.
• The pros and cons of specific renewable technologies.

The Dive Deeper session will also cover:

• Understanding energy bills and energy contracts.
• How energy can be monitored in greater detail through data logging.
• How to use half-hourly electricity consumption data with MS Excel.
• How staff behaviour can affect energy consumption.
• How to create and implement a behavioural change campaign within a business.
