Amazon Innovation Accelerator Programme

Small business leaders in Tees Valley are invited to join the free Amazon Innovation Accelerator programme, designed to help you innovate and grow your organisation.

For the first time, Amazon will open its doors to its state-of-the-art Robotics Fulfilment Centre in Stockton-on-Tees to provide bespoke training to small & medium size businesses. Participation in the two-and-a-half-day training programme is entirely free.

Only 30 businesses will be successfully enrolled on to the programme. Please register your interest now by emailing [email protected] before Thursday 30^th May.

• A walk through of Amazon’s site witnessing live demonstration of robotic technology in action.

How to Register?

To secure a spot, please email [email protected] before Thursday 30^th May to confirm your interest and to nominate one senior representative from your organisation to complete the following activities:

1. Attend two in-person all-day workshops scheduled for Tuesday 11th June and Wednesday 3rd July.
2. Participate in a virtual masterclass on Tuesday 18th June from 10am – 12:30pm.
3. Completion of two e-surveys and be open to selection for one-to-one interview (virtually or at your premises). This will help Amazon to better understand your organisations’ goals, challenges and evaluate your progress/benefits that you receive from the programme. The anonymised findings will be used to develop a report to further their understanding and ability to support small and medium enterprises in region. In some instances, case studies will be developed (with your permission) that illustrate your journey through the Amazon Innovation Accelerator.

 During the process of signing up, your details will be shared between The Growth Company, Tees Valley and North East Growth Hub and Amazon.

Eligibility Criteria

Businesses that are most likely to benefit from the programme are “digitally determined” businesses with annual revenues of at least £1M and have a minimum of 25 employees. A digitally determined business is defined as a company that relies heavily on digital technologies and online channels to run its core operations. SMEs from manufacturing, logistics and retail sectors will benefit most out of this programme.

Workshop Details
