What’s covered

  • You’ll receive an overview of the entire process for your business to aim for and reach Net Zero, including an introduction into emission categories and reporting.
  • Where to start as a business in measuring carbon emissions and gain basic knowledge of emission categories and data requirements.
  • Understand Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions and the key differences, along with some examples of emission calculations.
  • How to report emissions on an annual basis, and how to set near-term and long-term targets.
  • How to make a Net Zero commitment via the SME Climate Hub and the introduction to the next steps in planning and delivering carbon reductions.

After you have booked, we will email you to confirm your appointment, or detail the steps required so that you can. Usually, this will be within 2 hours, though it could be 1 working day during busy periods.

Your appointment will be hosted on Microsoft Teams. You’ll be able to join via your desktop or mobile using a browser; no account, or app is necessary. Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive a link to the joining link both 24 hours before, and 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start.
