- Programme Managers needed to drive forward Teesworks site
- Jobs at £70,000 – £80,000 a year
- Quality opportunities for local construction industry talent
Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen is urging construction managers looking for their next role across Teesside, Darlington and Hartlepool to apply for vital Programme Manager jobs and help drive forward the regeneration of the Teesworks site.
Work is ramping up across Teesworks with demolition and land remediation projects well underway to clear 2,300 acres of development land within the 4,500-acre area site – Europe’s largest brownfield site.
Experienced construction Programme Managers are now needed to help co-ordinate the delivery of key projects and activity as part of the Teesworks Regeneration Programme, offering a unique opportunity to work on the largest single regeneration opportunity in the UK.
The permanent full-time positions will enable local talent to play a pivotal role in the 25-year plan to transform Teesworks site.
Mayor Houchen said: “My plan for jobs has already created over 500 skilled, well paid jobs on the Teesworks site and these new Programme Manager roles are opening up even more opportunities to keep local talent working at home.
“We have some great people on Teesside who are no doubt travelling around the UK to find good-quality managerial opportunities within the construction sector. I want to keep talented local people working close to home and near their families and that’s just what these jobs will do.
“I urge any local experienced programme managers from Teesside, Darlington and Hartlepool to get applying.”
Applications close on Wednesday 26 May. Those interested should visit TeesValley.jobs to find out more and apply online. Other roles currently being recruited for at the Teesworks site include a Risk Analyst and Procurement Officer.
