Tees Valley Combined Authority | Published on: 20th December 2019
The Tees Valley Mayor and Combined Authority have begun a public consultation on the organisation’s Budget.
The Budget provides the financial framework for the forthcoming financial year (2020-21) and over the medium term.
Now members of the public are being asked for their feedback on the proposals, which runs until Monday, January 20 2020. The Mayor, Cabinet and Local Enterprise Partnership will be considering the final proposals at a meeting on Friday, January 31.
Julie Gilhespie, Tees Valley Combined Authority’s Chief Executive, said: “As an organisation we strive to make sure as many local people as possible fully understand what we are doing. It is important that local people across Tees Valley know exactly where every penny we spend actually goes, so they can be confident we are getting the best value for money. To ensure this we open our budget to public scrutiny and consultation every year.
“I’d invite anyone who lives in Tees Valley to take a look and give their feedback.”
You can find the proposals online at teesvalley-ca.gov.uk/consultations. You can submit feedback by email at [email protected] or by post at Tees Valley Combined Authority, Cavendish House, Teesdale Business Park, Tees Valley, TS17 6QY
