Local people can now book to fly from Teesside to Turkey next summer as TUI, the world’s leading holiday company, has officially placed its holidays on sale to the popular tourist destination.
Holidays to the city of Antalya on Turkey’s stunning south-west coast start at £771 per person for a four-star all-inclusive hotel stay, departing on the first flight into Antalya, based on two adults sharing.
Holidaymakers can jet off every Thursday from 26 May to 22 September 2022 to Antalya, which is home to beautiful beaches, glamorous marinas, impressive history and TUI resorts catering to people of all ages.
TUI, the UK’s number one holiday firm, announced a return to Teesside after nine years last October, and this is the second route to be announced for its summer 2022 schedule following the strong take-up of its flights to Majorca. It is the 15th destination overall to be introduced at the airport since it was brought back into public ownership, saving it from closure, in 2019.
Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen said: “Since we launched our summer flights just a number of weeks ago, people across Teesside, Darlington and Hartlepool have shown that, after a difficult 18 months, they are ready to take advantage of their local airport and fly once again.
“People can get booking now for these great value breaks, which are sure to prove as popular as the previously announced service to Majorca, that helped TUI make the decision to give our holidaymakers even more options for their summer getaways.
“This latest vote of confidence in Teesside International builds on TUI’s commitment to return after nine years and gives us an even stronger and more exciting slate of summer breaks that local people are crying out for.”
You can book you summer 2022 holiday from Teesside with TUI at www.tui.co.uk or in-store with your local travel agent.
