Mayor Opens New Office For Firm Of Financial Advisors

Mayor Ben Houchen has welcomed news that a Tees Valley financial advisors firm have expanded into new office premises.

Mayor Houchen joined Prismatic Wealth Limited’s Managing Director, Graham Laverick, to cut the ribbon on the new premises, Prismatic House, at Stockton’s Preston Farm Business Park.

The business, which employs 18 people, has been providing financial planning advice to companies and individuals in the North-east for over 30 years.

With more than £180million of funds under management, Prismatic’s clients include some of the region’s leading companies and charities, such as Butterwick Hospice, mechanical and building services firm Geoffrey Robinson and transformer manufacturer Carroll & Meynell.

The success of the firm has seen them expand and take on two new members of staff this year alone, with further recruitment under way. This led to the need for bigger and better-equipped office space.

Mayor Houchen said: “As a region we’re renowned for our expertise in heavy industry, chemicals and engineering but we have so much more to offer. To see professional services firms in the Tees Valley expand shows how much potential there is in our region.

“It was great to meet the firm and to join the staff for the opening of their new offices and, like all growing businesses in the area, I will do everything I can to help them flourish. I wish them a long and happy life at their new home and can’t wait to hear about their next success.”

Graham Laverick added: “I was delighted to get the support of the Mayor for the launch of our new office. We have been working in Tees Valley since 1987 and we had no plans to go anywhere else, knowing that we could find what we needed in a new location right here.

“This year has seen us grow and grow, and we have exciting plans for the year ahead. We’re always looking for new opportunities and we believe our new premises will only further enhance our client offering.”
