The University of Sunderland’s Graduate Internship Scheme offers an excellent way to begin your graduate-level career. You will be working for a local organisation on a full-time basis and earn a wage of at least £14,859 pro-rata within commuting distance of Sunderland. Up skilling grants of £1500 are available to support employers to recruit apprentices or new employees (please click on link above for criteria and contact details).
This scheme can assist with the recruitment process, help arrange work experience prior to employment if required and help source other funding that may be available. Please note this funding can be accessed in addition to other funding including the Government AGE grant of £1500.
