Funding

Current

We have funding to  develop the plans and potential improvements we have outlined. This includes funding from the following UK Government sources:

·         City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement

·         Levelling up Fund

·         Active Travel Fund

·         Transforming Cities Fund

These funds have investment plans agreed with the UK Government and Department for Transport (DfT). They are supported by the five Tees Valley local authorities. All projects follow UK Government guidance to deliver outcomes that help Tees Valley.

Future

There is more funding for future projects and other transport improvements across Tees Valley. This includes a £1Billion Transport Plan for the region and more funding as part of the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement.
