ZEBRA Bus Competition
To celebrate the launch of the fully electric Stagecoach Stockton depot, we’re inviting local children aged 11 and under to submit name suggestions for the new fleet and showcase their artistic talents by drawing their own zebra design for each bus.
Alongside a special prize for each of the winners, the top 64 zebra drawings will be showcased on the new buses, giving young artists the opportunity to see their work travelling throughout the Tees Valley.
The chosen names will also appear on the buses, allowing the children to leave a lasting mark on this new fleet and be a part of this significant investment towards sustainability.
The 64 new electric vehicles will make Stagecoach’s Stockton site the largest fully electric depot in the North East, with vehicles due to start at arriving from February 2025 onwards. This is following the awarding of UK Government funding to Tees Valley Combined Authority and bus operators through the Zero Emission Bus Regional Area (ZEBRA) scheme.

Each entry should include the child’s name, age, and a contact email address (school email addresses are acceptable). Both a bus name suggestion and zebra drawing are required for a valid entry. Please only submit one entry per child.
In submitting your form to TVCA, you agree to be contacted by the organisation for the purposes of this competition. The winning submissions will also be shared with Stagecoach North East, ready to be placed on the new fleet.
