Get ready to feel the beats of Africa at the Darlington Market Hall stage as local group, Taste of Africa take to the stage. Expect drumming, storytelling and afrobeat performances throughout the day.

The North East’s biggest multicultural festival – Mela – will be running a Mini Mela festival in Darlington Town Centre at the base of the Joseph Pease Statue. Expect an explosion of dance, performance, food, and culture right in the heart of Darlington.

Nadia started playing the violin aged five and she has since worked with many orchestras in Ukraine, Europe and the UK, including the Ukrainian National Orchestra. Now living in Ripon, she’ll be representing her home country in Darlington Market Place ahead of the Eurovision Final.

Ooh Ahh Just a Little Bit of Eurovision are a compilation tribute band to all things Eurovision through the years. With hits from ABBA, Katrina and the Waves, Bucks Fizz, Scooch, Gina G, Sonia, Conchita Wurst, Dana International and many more!

Tees Valley Combined Authority and Darlington Borough Council are working in partnership to provide this celebration for local residents. Live screening is funded by DCMS, UK Government and BBC.
