Get ready to feel the beats of Africa at the Darlington Market Hall stage as local group, Taste of Africa take to the stage. Expect drumming, storytelling and afrobeat performances throughout the day.

The North East’s biggest multicultural festival – Mela – will be running a Mini Mela festival in Darlington Town Centre at the base of the Joseph Pease Statue. Expect an explosion of dance, performance, food, and culture right in the heart of Darlington.
Tees Valley Combined Authority and Darlington Borough Council are working in partnership to provide this celebration for local residents. Live screening is funded by DCMS, UK Government and BBC.
