Halloween Fun Across Tees Valley 2025

Looking for Halloween activities to get your fix of spooky fun? Whether it’s a family-friendly day out, a creative workshop, or a late-night scare with friends, Tees Valley has plenty of treats (and tricks) to enjoy this October.

Here’s our round-up of the best Halloween events happening across Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees.

Crafty & Creative Halloween 

LUSH Halloween Workshops (Middlesbrough) – Create your own Halloween bath bomb or spooky soap – fun, colourful, and just the right amount of messy. 

Horror FX Halloween Workshop (Darlington) – Learn stage make-up tricks and create your own gruesome Halloween look. 

Halloween Crafts at Flatts Lane (Redcar & Cleveland) – The Visitor Centre hosts an afternoon of creepy crafts, perfect for little ghouls and creative spirits from 29–30 Oct just £2 per child.  

Sea View Pottery (Hartlepool) This Halloween, ditch the plastic props and create something truly haunting. A gothic-inspired ceramic Ram’s Skull, perfect for your crypt, altar, or eerie autumn decor. 

 

Family Fun 

Kids’ Halloween Show (Hartlepool) – A lively, family-tailored performance at Ye Olde Durham’s Social Club. 

Hullabaloo Mini Monsters (Darlington) – A Halloween theatre experience designed especially for younger audiences on the 31st of October.  

Family Movie Night (Middlesbrough)– Cosy up for a spooky screening at Eston Events & Function Centre, on the 29th of October.  

Family Party at St William’s Social Club (Redcar) – Music, games, and prizes for families celebrating Halloween together, on the 31st of October.  

Tricks, Treats & Tunes 

Vampire Ball (Hartlepool) – The Vixen Bar hosts a glamorous evening of music, dancing, and gothic glamour – fancy dress essential. 

She, The Show Halloween Special (Stockton-on-Tees) – The Georgian Theatre brings a spooky twist to this much-loved cabaret-style performance. 

Bottoms Up Bingo (Stockton) – Classic bingo with a mischievous Halloween twist at Stockton Cricket Club. 

Majestic Halloween Party (Darlington, 31 Oct) day of Halloween fun at The Majestic Theatre, kids’ party by day, adult party by night with themed drinks, costume contests, and wicked vibes 

 

 Chills & Thrills 

Ormesby Hall Murder Mystery (Middlesbrough) – Step back in time and solve a chilling case in this historic National Trust property. 

Walworth castle’s murder at first bite (Darlington) – on the 25th of October offering a chilling evening of mystery, superstition and murder for a three-course murder mystery meal.  

Darlington Halloween Run (South Park) – A 5k fun run with a fancy dress twist, perfect for burning off those sweet treats. Plus, lots of prizes for the best dressed 

Scream Factory (Redcar) – The North East’s award-winning scare attraction returns with terrifying mazes and live actors.
