Stockton’s epic multi-venue music festival is returning for its 15th year – and it’s must-attend for gig-goers with a terrific line-up to suit any musical taste.
On Saturday, 4th April, doors to venues such as ARC, KU, The Georgian Theatre, The Green Room and more will be thrown open for a full day of fantastic music.
As ever, the event will showcase local talent and top acts from further afield – where you’ll get to see established bands and up-and-comers which have included Self Esteem and Sam Fender in recent years.
Who’s Playing?
One of the North’s leading multi-venue urban festivals, this year’s line-up features headline sets from Hard-Fi, Gurriers, The Molotovs and a special homecoming performance from Young Rebel Set.
The Teesside favourites will join a line-up featuring over 60 artists, including some of the UK’s most vital new voices alongside the North East’s most exciting emerging acts. Among them are Cruz, the four piece indie-alt rockers from South Yorkshire, Newcastle rising indie newcomers Leazes, whose star continues to climb following support from BBC Introducing; boundary-pushing North East songwriter and performer Cortney Dixon, known for her theatrical live shows and alt-pop flair; and London’s grunge rock revivaists, Villanelle, fronted by Liam Gallagher’s son, Gene.
Running from midday until late, Stockton Calling 2026 transforms the town into a one-day celebration of live music and discovery. This year’s festival will span seven independent venues, with fans able to explore stages at ARC, ARC-2, KU Stockton, Social Room, The Georgian Theatre, The Green Room and The Link.

Where to Eat and Drink
If you want to grab some grub or a quieter drink, there are plenty of options across the borough.
In the town centre itself, pick up a top-notch parmo and traditional Italian fayre at Borge Ristorante, mouth-watering burgers and tacos at The Loft or if you’re after something quick and delicious pop over to Shawarma City.
The Olive Branch and nearby The Songbird just behind Green Dragon Yard – where a lot of the action is taking place – offer extensive drinks in great settings, while micropubs The Golden Smog and The Kopper Keg offer the finest ales.

Where to Stay
Making a weekend of it? Stockton’s Hampton by Hilton is located slap-bang in the middle of the town, perfect for a quick walk back after what’s sure to be an exhausting day.
Slightly further afield but easily accessible by car is Wynyard Hall, a beautiful 18th century grade 2 listed country house – for a touch of luxury with your stay.
There are also a number of Travelodge and Premier Inn locations within the borough too – something to suit all wallets.
Stockton Calling is brought to you by ARC, KU Promotions and Tees Music Alliance.

Day tickets are £40 (including fees), with limited £25 tickets available for music fans aged 14–17.
