Before he makes his magical one-night trip around the world, Santa’s more than happy to meet kids across Tees Valley.
He and his elves will be popping up in every town across the region – really showing how he can be in two places at once!
Check out below where you and your little ones can drop in to say hello!
Over at Hopetown Darlington, for the first time this year you can visit Santa in the attraction’s stunning Grade II-listed Carriage Works. A visit to Santa’s grotto is the highlight of a two-hour event including festive crafts and storytelling, and a wondrous wintry walk in an Enchanted Forest Reindeer Trail. The event runs from December 6 to 23 with prices from £22.50.
Father Christmas is working overtime in Hartlepool, with two chances to meet the jolly fellow.
Santa and his elves will be popping up to collect letters and take pictures at the National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool at various dates throughout December – with a free hot chocolate thrown in too!
And Santa’s second outpost will be in his grotto at Middleton Grange Shopping Centre, perfect for those wanting to meet Father Christmas and snap a festive photo while out present shopping.
Santa’s got Mrs Claus in tow for his appearance at Newham Grange Farm this year. From 2 to 24 December you can pop along to receive a gift, take part in the popular Breakfast with Mrs Claus event or build a teddy with the Head Elf in the festive workshop.
And St Nick will be strapping on his skates for the Middlesbrough on Ice skating rink when it returns from 8 December – keep your eye on Middlesbrough Council’s socials to check out the dates.
Down the coast in Saltburn, you can have a magical seaside experience with Santa’s Grotto at Saltburn Cliff Tramway. An iconic tram will be transformed into Santa’s enchanted grotto, where your family can take a festive ride with Santa himself! Each child will receive a special gift from Santa. The grotto runs on various days in December, see here for details.
Join Santa on Stockton High Street for the Santa Experience on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December as part of the Stockton Sparkles event. The free event will include stories, a festive singalong, crafting, food and more. On 30 November, there’ll also be BSL interpretation so no one misses out on the fun.
You wouldn’t normally put Ninjas and Santa together – but that’s not stopping him dropping in to one of the region’s latest attractions, Ninja Warrior UK at Teesside Park. There’s a Santa Meet & Greet where kids can share their wishes with the man himself, followed by an hour of Ninja Warrior action.
