Temenos

Temenos is a giant amongst art works. Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Middlesbrough’s Transporter Bridge it is a bold contemporary structure – a 21st century landmark to recall the engineering and industrial heritage of the town. Walk around it and stand beneath it to experience the awesome scale and beauty of the structure created by internationally signifi cant duo Anish Kapoor and Cecil Balmond. World renowned sculptor Anish, and pioneering structural designer Cecil, are also collaborating on the landmark 2012 Tower being built to commemorate the London Olympics.
