Hopetown Darlington’s railway-themed immersive outdoor adventure play park
It’s experimentation and innovation that put Darlington on the map – and it all starts with play.
Encourage children’s imaginations to run free. Inspire them to be curious and courageous while enjoying the benefits of the outdoors.
Based on the ingenious Brusselton Incline – a Georgian feat of engineering – Wagon Woods features walkways, bridges, slides, a multi-level play structure and lots of railway-themed features in an immersive play experience.
Developed in consultation with local primary schools and childminders, the play park includes an accessible incline track with interactive features and a companion slide suitable for wheelchair users.
Wagon Woods includes a toddler area. Wagon Woods is recommended for children aged up to 12 years.
