Amazing Autumn Adventures at Preston Park

Step into amazing autumn adventures at Preston Park Museum & Grounds this October half term. There’ll be lots of family fun and exciting opportunities to make the most of this enchanting season including:

  • Pop-up pumpkin games (daily)
  • Pumpkin trails (daily)
  • Memory making at the selfie station (daily)
  • Boo-tiful autumn makeover on the Victorian Street (daily)
  • Live music from the Ran Tanners (Sat 28 Oct)
  • Spooky storytelling with Captain Raggy Beard (Sat 28 Oct & Sat 4 Nov)
  • Pumpkin-themed arts and crafts (Mon 30 Oct)
  • Firework-themed arts and crafts (Wed 1 & Fri 3 Nov)
  • Food demos with Barefoot Kitchen CIC (Sat 4 Nov)

All activities are drop in and included in museum admission. The museum is open every day from Tuesday 24 October until Sunday 5 November. Opening hours are 10am – 4pm (except for Saturday 29 October when it will close at 2pm for the Spooky Walk).

Public Transport Directions

By train Preston Park Museum & Grounds is about a 12 minute walk from Eaglescliffe Railway Station, operated by Northern. Grand Central also run services between Sunderland and London that stop at Eaglescliffe Railway Station. By bus The museum is on a well serviced bus route. The Arriva North East bus service 7 / 7A Stockton High Street to Yarm stops outside the entrance to the park.
