Amplify April

Amplify is a free performance opportunity for young people aged 12-18 in a friendly and supportive event space.

Performing in front of an audience can be daunting – so if you’re a young musician wanting to try something out on a smaller scale and build your confidence in a relaxed environment, Amplify is for you!

We invite young people to perform in front of other young musicians, family, and friends. You’ll also get a chance to see bands and soloists from the Bandjam group at Middlesbrough Town Hall. We welcome all types of music – your performance can be something you’ve been working on recently that you would like people to hear, and it doesn’t have to be a finished piece.

Our MC will be on hand to support throughout the event to manage the performers and is always happy to share their music industry expertise.

HOW DO I PERFORM?

To sign up as a performer, please fill in our online sign-up form (https://arcg.is/LLj4S0) and we’ll be in touch to discuss and confirm your performance slot. To discuss, please email [email protected].
If you’re aged under 18, please ask your parent or guardian to fill in the form.
Performers are required to bring their own instruments and cables, and we will supply PA, drum kit, keyboard, mics, and other equipment.
