With 77 England caps to his name, it’s safe to say James Haskell has had a pretty decent rugby career at the very highest level, also turning out for the British and Irish Lions twice.
Predominantly a flanker, he’s also made a few appearances at number 8, playing club rugby across the world in England, France, Japan and New Zealand. He started his career in 2002 at Wasps, before he moved to Stade Francais, the Ricoh Black Rams in Japan and the Highlanders in New Zealand; before then returning to Wasps in 2013.
In 2018, Haskell moved to the Northampton Saints before hanging up his boots in May 2019. His honours include three Six Nations titles, including one Grand Slam in 2016, and an appearance in a World Cup quarter final in 2011.
He now has a number of podcasts, including Good, The Bad and The Rugby, which averages around 150,000 listeners per episode, Radio, his monthly house music show, and Douche, follows James’ journey to become a stand-up comedian. As well as appearing on a number of high profile TV shows, including I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, James is also a bestselling author. He has published two autobiographies, the Sunday Times Bestselling What A Flanker and Ruck Me, alongside numerous bestselling fitness and nutrition books such as Fit, for Fitness, and Fit.
James has recently published his latest book, With(out) Caution, providing readers with a five-step plan to take control of their life.
