Coronation Celebrations at Preston Park Museum

Join the nation in celebrating the coronation this May and make royal memories!

Come together with friends and family to Preston Park Museum and Grounds and mark this historic occasion with a celebratory weekend of exciting activities including:

  • The Big Lunch Victorian street party (Sat-Mon).
  • Royal arts and crafts (Sat-Mon).
  • The Big Help Out bluebell community planting legacy event (Mon).

Museum admission applies. When you purchase a ticket, you can return for unlimited free visits for 12 months.

Facilities

The museum has toilets, disabled toilets and baby change facilities.

The museum is fully accessible using lifts. The outdoor areas are also accessible, but please note the street is cobbled and the terrain may be rough in the woodland walk, orchard and gardens.

Only guide dogs are permitted in the museum

The museum is open Tues-Sun, 10am-4pm (open Mondays during local school and bank holidays)

Road Directions

If using a Sat Nav, please use the postcode TS18 3RJ Parking Free parking is available within both the main and overflow car parks. Designated disabled spaces are located within the main car park, adjacent to Cafe Tees. The two electrical charging points are currently not in use however Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council are working on a scheme to replace out of date points with new ones.

Public Transport Directions

By Train Preston Park Museum & Grounds is about a 12 minute walk from Eaglescliffe Railway Station, operated by Northern. Grand Central also run services between Sunderland and London. By Bus The museum is on a well serviced bus route with a stop at the entrance to the grounds.
