Darlington Rock Choir

Ever wondered if there is a ‘local ladies choir near me or nearby’?

The local Darlington choir is run by vocal tutor Florence Glen. Our No.1 Album gave ordinary people the chance to become chart-topping singers, and Rock Choir is continually giving our members bigger and better opportunities to achieve things they never thought they could do – from supporting national charities like Missing People and both Comic and Sport Relief to singing at the UK’s top performing arts venues such as the Hammersmith Apollo. But through all this excitement, we never lose track of our local community roots.

We rehearse every week during the school calendar and you can come along to any rehearsal that is convenient to you and that’s a freebie! What are you waiting for? It’s a FREE singing session near you!

Here is a quote about our choir – ‘Rock Choir is a way for people to express themselves musically in an environment which normally would not allow them to do so. I bet a pound to a pinch of salt there are thousands of guys and girls in the UK itching to sing but are too embarrassed or worried what others may think, and let’s face it, if it makes people happy then come on UK lets get behind them!!! Rock Choir is the wonderful innovative idea which is the brain child of Caroline Redman Lusher who I have had the privilege of working with over the past 12 months. Live the dream guys.’ – Gary Chilton (Double-platinum selling singer with ‘The Soldiers’)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon ‘Big Heart’ Award and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
