DIWALI: DIYA & RANGOLI FAMILY WORKSHOP
It’s time to get creative! Join us for this visual arts workshop led by artist Jayamini de Silva.
Sat 26 October – 11am & 1pm
Ages 7+
Duration: 1 hour
Tickets: £3 per person, free babe in arms
Children and their grown-ups can create their own Diya lamp which are symbolically lit during prayers, rituals, and ceremonies in the Hindu culture. We’ll also be creating pretty Rangoli patterns – a traditional artform in Hinduism.
Facilities
Our fabulous venue is specifically created for children and families and is an inspiring place to play and learn. The venue is fully accessible, has great facilities for you and your family to access: child friendly toilets, buggy parking, separate baby change, creative play spaces and a great family friendly café.
