Join us on this very special tour of The Stores to celebrate the history and heritage of the railways! Our curator will guide you through some of our fascinating artefacts, and allow you to explore the extensive archive collection.

Delve into the history of the Stockton & Darlington Railway. Discover objects and artefacts relating to the development and operation of railways in North East England that aren’t found in the permanent display.

We’re pleased to offer this tour free of charge (usually £10 per person), to celebrate Heritage Open Days taking place across the country this September.
