Nippers Clay Creations

Join us at Hopetown Darlington and complete a trail of our magnificent Nippers Sculptures, designed by North East artist Andrew McKeown.

Learn about the ingenious design of ticket nippers, and how they were used by railway ticket inspectors. Then attend a workshop where you will create your own clay sculpture to take home!
This is a family workshop. It’s recommended for ages 5 to 10 and their accompanying adult. Younger visitors are welcome but may need extra help with the task!

Accompanying adults do not need an activity ticket, however please add free Site Admission tickets for all visitors to your Cart before checking out!
