“The Story Of Ireland” is a journey through the story of the Emerald Isle.
Through narration, poetry and song we are taken through Irish history – the mass emigration to America, famous historical moments, famous characters, the Titanic build, the 1916 Rising, the forming of the Dubliners, and finding peace in Northern Ireland.
Music featured in the show include classics such as Danny Boy, Galway Bay, The Last Rose of Summer, Ill Take You Home Again Kathleen, The Town I Loved So Well as well as toe tappers such as Black Velvet Band, The Wild Rover, Seven Drunken Nights and many more. If you like Irish music, and all things Irish this show will pull on your heartstrings and make you smile in equal measure.
Featuring a cast of talented actor/musicians/singers who perform as various characters and act, sing and dance their way through the story.
