The magical season kicks off in spectacular style in Redcar Town Centre on Sunday 24 November with a pantomime-themed Lights Switch On and Illumination Parade.
Look out for illuminated stilt walkers and fairy godmothers; pantomime characters including Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent and Peter Pan and Tinker Bell and more than 200 participants from local schools and community groups in the spectacular Parade at 4.15pm.
Earlier in the day you can meet Santa and Friends in his grotto near the Blue Clock; tuck into some tasty treats from the festive street food market and enjoy music and performances on the main stage before the grand light switch on at 5.45pm.
