Saltburn Ice Trail

Renowned ice sculptors Sand in Your Eye will create nine amazing ice sculptures around the theme of pantomime across Saltburn, creating a wonderful one-day trail for families to explore. Each sculpture will reveal a secret that you’ll need to find to complete the trail competition. The trail will feature a live ice carve, and a workshop with its very own ice post box, where the elves will help you write and post your letters to Santa.

You can also visit Santa in his Grotto in Saltburn’s newly reopened Cliff Tramway – Britain’s oldest water balanced cliff funicular.  And there will be photo opportunities with Cinderella and Prince Charming as well as walkabout Pantomime Dame characters.

We’re also joined by Saltburn Inspired who, in partnership with the Ice Trail, will bring a Christmas Market to Saltburn Community Hall with stalls, crafts and a Beer and Carols sessions with music from the Saltburn Smugglers.

The day runs from 10am to 4pm but be sure to get down as early as you can.  If the sun shines, those Ice Sculptures start to melt!
