‘Back in 2009 I was asked by Chris Monk if I wanted to do some solo gigs supporting the Damned and the Alarm. Having not really thought of it before and after initial worries, I decided to give it a go. It was great and I loved it!
Fast forward a few years and Jim Reilly contacted me about the possibility of forming a band. As always, I hesitated, but he finally browbeat me into agreeing. Again it has turned out to be fab fun and a great adventure.
We play a mix of Stiff Little Fingers songs that we were both involved in and our ever growing catalogue of originals. Some have said that without Jake Burns there is no SLF… Well, I totally agree! We are not, nor have ever claimed to be, Stiff Little Fingers.
Originally with Petesy Burns on bass and now with Ave Tsarion permanently in place we are off on our merry travels all over. We will be around your area soon so for a guaranteed fun night out … seeya up there!!’
