From 2.30pm enjoy children’s fairground rides, face painting, festive food, drink and treats all accompanied by the Infant Hercules Choir and other surprise strolling musicians.
The lights switch-on ceremony begins at 3.30pm, with the Christmas Message, solo artists, Panto banter from Tom Rolfe’s ‘Snow White’ and a grand finale with Mike McGrother leading a massed choir from Yarm and beyond – the spectacular ‘Singing Christmas Tree’ – as we countdown to switch on the lights. Father Christmas is popping in too!
