Strategic Economic Plan
We have developed a refreshed Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) that sets out the steps we are taking to overcome the barriers to business growth within Tees Valley, placing SMEs, innovation and individuals at the centre of the Tees Valley’s growth ambitions.
The aim is to become a high-value, low-carbon, diverse and inclusive economy, and therefore it has been identified that investment will be prioritised in to 6 main strategic priorities:
- Business Growth
- Research, Development, Innovation & Energy
- Education, Employment & Skills
- Transport & Infrastructure
The refreshed SEP also has a cross cutting theme of the Circular Economy.
