Are disabilities, long-term health conditions or other challenges making it hard for you to get or keep work?

Tees Valley Connect to Work offers free, personalised, one-to-one support to help you find, get, and keep a job that works for you. Whether you’re looking for your first job, returning to work after a break, or struggling to stay in work, we’ll support you every step of the way.

Our experienced team will work with you to understand your goals, strengths, and the challenges you face – and build a plan that’s right for your needs. This is not a one-size-fits-all service. Everything we do is tailored to you.

Who it’s for

Connect to Work helps disabled people, those with health conditions and people with complex barriers to employment, aged 18+ (exceptions for 16-17), and living in Tees Valley to find sustainable work.

Once you’ve completed the form below, our team will complete early checks to make sure this is the right pathway for you.

Our goal is simple: to help you find meaningful job that fits your needs.

How we help

A personalised journey into work

Here’s what your journey with us could look like:

Already in work, but need help to stay there?

If you’re already working but finding it hard to cope due to a health condition, disability, or other challenges, we can help with:

  • Rapid support and tailored advice
  • Changes to make your job easier. This could include providing adjustable desks, implementing a phased return to work after illness, or providing a support worker
  • Coaching to manage workplace challenges
  • Exploring other job opportunities if needed
  • Ongoing support for up to four months
