New technical education reforms are at the heart of a skills partnership between the Combined Authority, business, education and training providers. This partnership will create the skills revolution vital to meet the needs of the Tees Valley economy, employers and residents.
Technical education will be developed to equal the academic system, through quality apprenticeships and the introduction of T levels for 16 – 19-year-olds. We will support young people and adults to secure a lifetime of sustained skilled employment to benefit our rapidly changing economy.
