Middlesbrough is Tees Valley’s centre for innovative digital tech companies, with the Boho Zone sitting at its heart.
Since the formation of the zone in 2009, with the opening of flagship building, Boho One, The Boho Zone has been a home to hundreds of digital tech companies, and two accelerator programmes.
Designed with collaboration, deal-flow, and knowledge transfer in mind, the buildings have provided a catalyst for growth for digital tech businesses.
The Boho Zone currently offers a mix of commercial office space, live-work space, and residential space, across 11 separate buildings. Boho X is the most recent addition to The Boho Zone, with work on the 60,000 square foot office space being completed in June 2023. Games developer and publisher Double Eleven has since occupied the building as it continues to grow its workforce.
