Middlesbrough Station + More

Middlesbrough station's £34million project has already seen an extended platform 2 for intercity rail services, and works are now under way to redevelop the undercroft and new ticket hall, as well as public realm improvements.

Darlington Station + More

The transformational £140million redevelopment of Darlington Station has seen buildings cleared for a new multi-storey car park, gateway station entrance and improvements to Victoria Road. Two new platforms will increase capacity and boost reliability of national and local services.

Hartlepool Station + More

£12million is being invested to bring back the redundant platform two back into meaningful use, with a new footbridge and lifts. This will improve current capacity and unlock the potential for future increased services.

Billingham Station + More

Upgrades are being made at Billingham to improve access to the station, with the existing footbridge being replaced by one served with lifts, making it step-free.

Eaglescliffe Station + More

Work is ongoing to open up western access to Eaglesliffe station, with a new car park being created near Durham Lane Industrial Estate, plus a new footbridge.
