Tees Valley Net Zero has everything your business needs to help you develop a Net Zero strategy.

You will be supported every step of the way, with our Net Zero Advisors and Technical Specialists on hand with online and in-person Net Zero consultations. You will also be able to access information 24/7 through a suite of online tools and resources, including access to a new web-based tool that will generate a Carbon Reduction Plan for your business.

Use the Online Tool

Access a web-based tool to calculate and report carbon emissions, giving you insight and knowledge so you can set reduction targets for your business.

By signing up to Tees Valley Net Zero, you will get a fully funded Premium account. This offers free access to additional features, including generating a Carbon Reduction Plan (PPN 06/21) and much more.

Your Premium subscription will be fully funded through the programme until 31 March 2025, after which you can still access the free basic subscription.

Book a Net Zero Consultation

Once you’re up and running on the online platform, our Net Zero Advisors and Technical Specialists can support you in calculating your carbon footprint, making your Carbon Reduction Plan a reality and kickstarting the decarbonisation of your business.

A mix of online and in-person consultations are available to suit you.  

Businesses who sign up could receive a £2,000 grant towards implementing their carbon-saving activity. 

For some businesses, an Enhanced Decarbonisation Plan may be suitable. This involves an on-site energy audit to give a detailed techno-economic assessment of opportunities for energy efficiency and renewable energy measures.

Webinars

A range of webinars are available for you to tap into.

  1. Get started with a convenient online Introduction to Net Zero Webinar and find out the basics of how to start your journey. You’ll receive an overview of the entire process for your business to aim for and reach Net Zero, including an introduction into emission categories and reporting. (45 minutes)  
  2. Receive a walk-through on measuring your carbon footprint with a BringAbout Demo. Learn how to set near- and long-term targets and how to create your first Carbon Reduction Plan, followed by a Q&A session. (90 minutes)
  3. Understand more about how emissions are measured and reported, setting science-based targets for reaching Net Zero through an Emissions Reporting & Target Setting Webinar. (90 minutes)

Masterclass

Get started on your journey to Net Zero with a half-day online Energy Saving Masterclass.

The session will equip you with ideas for decarbonising your business, including no-cost and low-cost options, up to £5,000. You will also learn about renewable energy options for your business premises, including how they work and their pros and cons.

Looking for something more in depth? Join a full-day in-person Decarbonisation Deep Dive Masterclass taking place in locations across Tees Valley.

This session will offer a  more in-depth look into the measures your business can implement, such as data logging and behavioural change.
