Your Route to a Robust Investment Opportunity

The Tees Valley: Securing Investment events programme continues on Wednesday 10th July at the CPI Offices in Darlington with the next workshop focusing on how to get your business ready for investment.

The Access to Finance specialists will take you through three interactive workshops, looking in depth at Skills Formation, Financial Projections and Legal & IP Management.

There will be plenty of time for questions and networking with like-minded businesses in the room.

Take a look at each workshop and what you will gain from signing up:

Skills Formation

It involves identifying required skill sets, considering cofounders, advisors, and core team members, establishing roles, responsibilities, and communication channels, and officially forming the team.

Financial Projections

Businesses understand financial basics, define financial assumptions, project revenues and expenses, forecast cash flows, evaluate profitability, and document detailed financial projections.

Legal & IP Management

Entrepreneurs understand legal requirements, EIS/SEIS, shareholders agreements, commercial agreements, manage IP rights, apply for necessary patents, trademarks, or copyrights, and complete all legal and IP tasks.

Looking forward to meeting you, get your place booked now!

More details about the programme

We have launched a new programme set to enable hundreds more businesses in the Tees Valley to navigate the funding landscape and secure the finance they need to grow.

Tees Valley Securing Investment has received £880,000 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund as part of the Tees Valley Combined Authority’s UKSPF Programme of support.

The programme will address the long-standing barriers facing the region’s businesses in accessing money by connecting enterprises with investors and funds.

Increasing the range of funding on offer to businesses through access to the Northern Investor Hub, businesses can also access bespoke one-to-one support, in-depth workshops and an online training programme – all designed to improve investment readiness.

Open to businesses and socially trading enterprises operating across the Tees Valley Combined Authority area, the programme is led by innovation finance specialists and business support providers Innovation SuperNetwork, in partnership with SmartaCPI Enterprises & Edge Innovation.
