TVCA has launched a new challenge fund, intended to encourage and support coordinated, collaborative and connected approaches to strengthening the reach and impact of existing festivals and events across the Tees Valley.
We will support festival collectives (consortia) to:
This challenge fund will enable financial investment in two consortia, one which brings together music festival partners and another which brings together LGBTQIA+ programmes. There will be scope for a third consortia to receive support should a compelling case be made.
Expected awards will be in the region of £100,000 per collective to enable activity to be delivered over a maximum period of 2 years, 5 months (1st November 2023 – 31st March 2026).
Please note: TVCA investment is intended to enable ways of working together which would not otherwise be achieved and to make a lasting step-change. It therefore cannot be used for ‘business as usual’ activity i.e., core delivery costs.
There are four stages to the application process for Festival Collectives Challenge Fund.
Stage 1: Read all the guidance and supporting information to ensure your project is eligible and meets the objectives and priorities of the Festival
Collectives Challenge Fund.
Stage 2: Arrange a Visioning Workshop: [email protected]
Stage 3: Attend Visioning Workshop (paid time for up to 3 collective members where roles are freelance) – in this meeting we will cover;
Stage 4: Submit your application using the online form and upload the required additional documents.
