Agendas and papers for all formal meetings are published 5 clear working days before the meeting. Draft minutes are published within 10 working days of a meeting (they are subject to change until approved at the following meeting). Final minutes are published within 10 clear working days of being approved.

Please note: Social distancing measures required during the COVID-19 outbreak make it impossible for the Combined Authority to hold physical statutory meetings at the present time.

To allow crucial operational decisions to be taken in this period – and to allow for appropriate scrutiny of those decisions – all statutory meetings will be held by video conference until further notice.

The power to do this is granted by the Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority and Police and Crime Panel Meetings) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020.

Anyone is welcome to our statutory meetings. If you would like to attend a meeting, you can do so by emailing your name and address to at least 48 hours before the meeting is due to take place.

The meeting will take place using Microsoft Teams (you may need to download the Microsoft Teams App to access the meeting). Approximately 1 hour before the meeting is due to start you will be sent joining instructions including a code.

If members of the public wish to ask questions these will be accepted at the discretion of the Chair, and need to be submitted via e-mail to at least 48 hours before the meeting is due to take place.

If it is necessary for the press and public to be excluded where confidential items are discussed under the terms of Section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, these attendees will be asked by the Chair to leave the meeting. If they do not comply, The Chair or Governance team members will act to exclude them.
