Want to get around without a car? No problem. Our towns across Tees Valley are all well served by quick and convenient public transport that can take the whole family where you need to go.

With frequent trains serving stations in Darlington, Middlesbrough, Redcar, Saltburn, Stockton-on-tees, Thornaby, Billingham, Hartlepool, Seaton Carew, Eaglescliffe, Yarm, Nunthorpe and more, it couldn’t be easier to travel around Tees Valley and beyond by rail. Trains are operated by Northern, Transpennine Express and LNER – head to Connect Tees Valley to find more information.

The region is also criss-crossed by a wide variety of handy bus services. Even better, until 31st March 2023 you can get around for less by making the most of a £2 single fare cap on bus journeys when you travel with Arriva, Stagecoach and Go North East.
