Palace Arts Gallery launched in 2013 and is managed and curated by Mark and Nel Hickson.
Its large space is divided into two sections: a main gallery and a smaller gallery.
The main gallery exhibits work from local and regional artists in a series of open exhibitions which last around three months.
The smaller gallery shows shorter, themed exhibitions and is also available for hire by individual artists, groups or educational insitutions. These shows typically run for about a month.
