A treat is in prospect for Darlington residents to savour. The town’s free annual show will return with a bang on 5 November with food and fun for all the family at the free event.
The ticketed extravaganza at South Park will be for Darlington borough residents only with tickets and a wristband needed for entry. But the hotly anticipated display will mark the first time in more than a decade that the Bonfire Night event will take place in the town.
Fantasy Fireworks – a silent firework show ideal for children or those needing a more relaxed experience – will be followed by a James Bond themed “License to Thrill” show. Wristbands will be available for collection from Monday 17 October at:
For the next two weeks, wristbands are only being issued to Darlington residents. To claim your wristbands, please be prepared to show a utility bill (either paper or electronic) showing proof of address at your chosen collection point.
You must be aged 16 or over to collect the wristbands – the event itself is suitable for all ages and everyone attending must wear one on the night.
5.30pm: Gates open
From 6pm: Light and fire performances held across the showfield
6.45pm: Fantasy Fireworks - a quiet firework show that is ideal for children or those who need a more relaxed experience.
