Love Norton Advent Trail

The Love Norton Advent Trail returns to Norton from Friday 1 December.

Come along to St Mary’s Church from 4pm for the celebratory illumination of the church windows by the Mayor of Stockton-on-Tees, Cllr Jim Beall. Then afterwards, stay and join us at the Church for mulled wine and refreshments.

From 1 December, follow the illuminated window trail through Norton and discover the advent story. This year’s Advent window theme is all things Christmas! Alongside the Nativity Story, this year participants have created windows celebrating well know Christmas songs and carols.

To take part in the trail, collect a map from participating businesses and mark down the letters found in the Advent windows. Some businesses you may need to visit during their opening hours to be able to see the clue. Once complete, hand your map into Norton Library by Thursday 28 December to be in with the chance of winning a prize. Prizes include 1st £30, 2nd £20 and 3rd £10, plus there will be a number of smaller prizes to be won too.

Look out for the bonus window marked with a star. When you find it, pop in and collect yourself a sweet treat.
