Stockton Blues, Rhythm and Rock Festival

Fans of the blues rejoice as we welcome you to Stockton Blues, Rhythm and Rock Festival which takes place across the whole building this May.

Ten Years After
Ten Years After will not stand still even in their 53rd year of existence. Following their legendary Woodstock performance in 1969, the pioneers of the British Blues Invasion went on to gain international fame, playing some of the world’s largest venues throughout the decades. Expect the classics such as ‘Love Like A Man’, ‘Good Morning Little Schoolgirl’, ‘The Hobbit’, ‘One Of These Days’ and ‘Choo Choo Mama’ and long-standing fan favorites like ‘Gonna Run’, ‘Nowhere To Run’, ‘I Say Yeah’, ‘Hear Me Calling’ or ‘I’d Love To Change The World’.

Crow Black Chicken
Crow Black Chicken have earned a reputation as one of Ireland’s top blues acts. Their sound combines elements of folk and hard rock with the blues rock of bands like Gov’t Mule, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Led Zeppelin.

Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse
The debut album from Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse, Love & Murder, spurned Top 10 hits in genre charts across Europe. The album’s wide-reaching appeal earned it a number 13 placement in the ‘Top 50 Albums of the year’ by Classic Rock Magazine, describing it as ‘A sensual, vibrant cocktail’.

Redfish
With influences including Eric Clapton, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, SRV and Jimmie Vaughan, Dr John, Booker T, Albert, Freddie and B.B. King, this band has developed a delicious, bubbling gumbo of blues, soul, gospel and funk, with live performances defined by swirling dynamic energy and the visibly obvious delight of personal interaction, between five performers at the top of their game.

Blue Nation
Blue Nation, a 3-piece band from Birmingham, use Riff based Melodic Blues Rock from a reservoir of influences, including Beatles, Cream, Zeppelin, Brit Pop 90’s, and more recently Rival Sons and Vintage Trouble, to create their memorable sound. Their songs are delivered by three accomplished musicians, fronted with stunning vocals. All backed up with impressive gig experience, stage presence and great songs.

The James Oliver Band
Blues, rock a billy, rock and country…it’s all here in one explosive pickin’ package.
