At the Claxton Hotel we are a friendly family run business, now third generation ‘Brittain / Smith’ family on Redcar’s High Street for over 50 years! Directly overlooking the beautiful Seafront, Our aim is to offer a relaxing experience with excellent value for money!
We are a pet friendly hotel, We welcome you to relax with your dogs in our lounge on an evening and also for breakfast on a morning.
We offer secure over night storage for guests traveling by bicycle or need storage for Golf clubs/ equipment.
We have 36 en-suite bedrooms, a mixture between Standard, Deluxe and Superior and a private lounge for residents to relax, enjoy a drink and look out across the sea, with eleven ground floor bedrooms for those who find stairs a problem, The Claxton Hotel offers great value for anyone visiting the Teesside and Cleveland area whether you are working away from home, visiting friends or family or on holiday.
